East London Routes
- Category: Events
East London Routes is a family history festival bringing together local people to tell the stories of how we came to East London. It is a chance to discover and celebrate our ancestors - Caribbean and African, Turkish and Kurdish, Jewish, Vietnamese, Irish, and South East Asian or from other parts of the UK.
The event will coincide with the 10th anniversary of Every Generation Media and Foundation (EGM). EGM is based in east London and has been at the forefront of developing websites, publications, workshops and films around family learning and cultural heritage, particularly among people from African and Caribbean heritage.
