Palliative and End of Life Care

 

Conference: Palliative and End of Life Care in a Multi-Cultural Society - 28 November 2012

The End of Life Care Strategy (2008) highlights that Palliative and End of Life Care should be equally accessible to all individuals with life limiting illnesses regardless of their cultural background.  This conference will consider ways to improve provision of high quality care for all patients approaching the end of life within our multi-cultural society.



Topics will include:

  •     The influence of national policy and strategies
  •     Exploring and managing the underutilisation of services
  •     Developing more culturally sensitive approaches to Palliative and
  •     End of Life Care


Target Audience: All Health and Social Care Professionals working within or with an interest in Palliative and End of Life Care
