Since 2008, Every Generation has started to make its own films and documentaries. We have also established our own film archives with support from Infactuation Productions and to date we have 500 hours of film footage covering major events and activities in the UK, Africa, Caribbean, Middle East and North America since 2002. We have plans over the next two years to produce the following films:

  • In My Father’s House: family history of Walter Mbotela as part of the 50th anniversary of the Independence of Kenya (2013)

  • Speaking Out and Standing Firm: the history and stories of black ex-service men and women’s contribution to the world wars and international conflicts 2013/14).

  • Doors of Perception: Cultural History of Carved Doors in East Africa (2014/15).

  • Black Ephemera: family history, cultural identity and belonging (2014).
